Miami, FL (PREWEB) June 22, 2008 -- Theresa Disney, a folk artist from St. Louis, Missouri, was recently profiled in the "MoreStyle - Why She Looks So Good" feature of More magazine. This More magazine feature article is basically about the different and artistic fashions and styles of women over forty years old; these women can come from anywhere across the United States. According to the article, "One of a kind creations are her trademark."

The article goes on to give Disney's own perspective on her artistic work and why her work is unique. For example, Disney is shown in a picture wearing boots that she said she painted herself; the right boot has a picture of the devil with the word "sinner" written above it, and the left boot has a picture of an angel on it, with the word "saint" emblazoned above it.

According to the article, Disney also enjoys wearing what some people might consider "normal" clothing, except that her clothing has her own unique and personal touch. Disney also says that even though she enjoys wearing overalls and blue jeans, she also likes to add something all her own to the outfit, such as the rosary bracelet that belongs to her grandmother that was featured in one of the photos in the article.

"I wake up in the mornings thinking about purple, lavender and cream -- and can't wait to paint something I've never seen before," said Disney. "Creating art has taught me how courageous I am. I look forward to surprising myself in my forties -- with more self-discovery, more learning experiences. Next I'd like to open an art center for people to share in the joy of art -- because joy is what it's all about."

According to the More magazine official Web site, More magazine is a magazine that celebrates women forty years old and older. Women who are forty years old and older can find the information and resources you need to live a joyful and successful life at any age in this magazine.
